Dry Carbon Fiber components made by Password:JDM are as real as they get. It's un-varnished Dry Carbon, that's entirely produced in-house here in the USA to the highest caliber AS9100D Aerospace level of quality. We use exclusively real North American Carbon Fiber twill that's either pre-impregnated (Pre-Preg) or physically infused with North American sourced Epoxy adhesive resins. Our production processes and procedures for each of our products are well documented for quality and repeatability. What we don't do is what all the other guys do, which is to use an inferior foreign supplied (usually China) fabric, plenty of fiberglass, economically advantageous (cheap) polyester resins, and a lot of clearcoat to hide their sins.
The difference in quality, durability, and strength between a real dry carbon component and whats made with polyester resins and cheap carbon fiber from China is night and day. You can also compare our quality with theirs all by using a weight scale. Real Dry carbon fiber will always be fractionally lighter than Chinese made carbon. for example, the PWJDM GTR hood scales at around 9lbs. A typical hood from a USA branded Chinese manufacturer comes in around 20lbs or so.

What's the best way to wash my Dry Carbon Fiber or Kevlar parts?
Don't Wash it! The best care procedure for real Dry Carbon Fiber is to use a damp cloth with a few squirts of a silicon based protectant like "Armor-all" and wipe it like Hillary wiped her server. Real Dry Carbon Fiber is exposed carbon fiber in its truest form, just like all the panels on a real F-1 race car, its the lightest and strongest component produced using the best material and manufacturing technique available. Using a silicon based protectant will always keep slightly oily.
What is Dry Carbon? Can I clear coat it?
Real Dry Carbon from PasswordJDM is Real Dry Carbon in its truest un-varnished form. why offer it this way, because thats the way they its always been done in professional racing. The Pin-holes you see is a characteristic of manufacturing process using Real Carbon Fiber and Epoxy. Its the lightest, strongest, and the most consistant way of making carbon fiber products. We DO NOT recommend trying to clearcoat Dry Carbon Products yourself or through a bodyshop. It will take approximately 30 layers of clearcoat to fill in all the pin holes. However, we developed a proprietary process of coating Dry Carbon products in-house. its an added value service we offer to our customers. please inquire about coating dry carbon by calling the office during business hours.
How long will it take to process my order?
We at Password:JDM try our very best to ship our in-stock items as soon as possible and most orders usually ship out in 24h, but can take from 3 to 5 business days to process. Any order placed on the weekend will ship out on Monday if everything is in stock. You are welcome to contact us by email or phone in case you have any questions or concerns in regards to your order.
What is the average shipping time?
Average transit times are usually within 3 and 5 business days in the lower 48 States after the order has shipped out. Unfortunately, some delays may occur due to weather conditions and other unforeseen circumstances, which we assume no responsibility of. International orders may take up to 10 business days to arrive, or sometimes longer, depending on the customs clearing procedure of your country. Password:JDM is NOT responsible of any additional duties and/or taxes charged upon delivery.
What if my item is back-ordered?
We keep your order in our system and once that item becomes available, we will notify you by email with a tracking number of your items once it gets shipped out. In case of significant delays, our Sales team will notify you of this by email. You can also view the status of your order on your customer account page. Do not hesitate to contact us in case you have any questions about the status of your back order.
Can I cancel my order?
Should you want to cancel your order, do not hesitate to contact us as soon as possible. In case that your order has already been shipped out and we can not cancel it in time, you will be held responsible for any return fees of the product.

An item is missing from my shipment.
In case that you are missing any items in your package, be sure to contact us as quick as possible. Please make sure to have your order number ready so that we can track your order in an efficient manner. In case that one of the items is back ordered, Password:JDM reserves the right to ship in-stock items first or hold on to items until the order is complete.
My order came damaged. What do I do?
In case that your item(s) arrived damaged, please get in touch with us right away. Password:JDM holds no responsibility over damaged items or claims processing from carriers, but we will make sure to work with you to rectify the situation. Please make sure to follow these steps in order to ensure the quickest response:
- Do NOT discard any packaging and make sure to take clear pictures of the packaging and damage.
- Provide photos of damaged products.
Contact us right away with your order number in hand and we will submit the damage claim with the carrier.
Do I have to pay sales tax?

Carbon Fiber Products
All Password:JDM Dry Carbon/Kevlar products are hand crafted and as unique as a finger print, no two items will be exactly identical. Small imperfections such as wavy weaves, small bubbles and resin blemishes will be inevitable. Such minor imperfections are race industry standard and considered acceptable. Therefore it is NOT considered to be defective.
All Password:JDM Dry Carbon/Kevlar products require professional installation. Minor adjustments might be necessary. This is part of the normal body work and installation process. Password:JDM has made all efforts to produce its aftermarket products to fit the original factory vehicles as closely as possible. However, some occasional prepping may be necessary for an ideal fit. The buyer needs to perform these steps to his/her satisfaction before installation. If the buyer wishes to paint the products, he or she must pre-fit the parts to the vehicle before painting to ensure proper fit. There will be absolutely no returns on painted products.
