Introducing the world's first true dry carbon fiber Nissan GT-R hood developed by Password:JDM. Its no secret, lighter cars do go faster (stop that much quicker as well)... and by reducing the weight up from top, it also lowers your car's center of gravity, making it corner that much better. This dry carbon hood retains the original shape but reduced the overall weight by utilizing our state of the art manufacturing process and race quality dry carbon fiber to scale in under 15lbs. Password:JDM is the first to market a weight reduction initiative for the all new Nissan GT-R and this hood is the first item of many product release to achieve that goal. Our product line is designed with form and function since it retains the original dimensions set forth by Nissan for the introduction of the GT-R to North America.
Every Password:JDM R35 GT-R Dry Carbon Fiber Hood features an edge burn clear coat premium finish. The true to form process of applying multiple layers of UV protected clear coat to retain the factory shine matching the other GT-R panels will provide a OEM factory look to the lighter dry carbon fiber piece.
